Remember this post? That was some yellow paint! Well...I have a little sneak preview (for those of you who care) of what the brighter than the surface of the sun yellow looks like now. Ignore, if you will, the blur, the overhead glare from the light, and my less than stellar profesh photography...as well as the giant black trash bag in the middle of the floor. Drum roll please...
This is seven coats, two gallons, and countless hours of my life later but holy transformation, Batman! hehe. Note my cleverness? This is just a little sneak peek. I will reveal all after I finish. There is much more to come. Ignore the mess everywhere. I am mid remodel, after all. On the right side (if you are facing the wall) is Gotham City, complete with Batsignal in the sky. The left is Metropolis with the Daily Planet revolving slowly around the top of the building. Note the three planes flying above the buildings, and eleventybillion tiny little symmetrical windows. What? You see some that are crooked. Well, who asked you? When I look at it (eyes squinted, head tilted slightly and standing on one foot) every single window is PERFECT! The wall with the colored squares...well, it's not finished and it's a surprise. The doors are painted in chalkboard paint so E Man can create to his heart's delight! This is his 5th birthday present and he has not seen it, except for the tiny peek he managed last night, which sent me straight over the edge of crazy at 11 pm. Why was my 4 year old up at 11 pm, you ask? How about, don't! His birthday is February 8th and with the grace and mercy of the good Lord, I will be finished by then. Sit tight, more pics and maybe even a couple tutorials to come! I know you are biting your nails! Stop that! It's a filthy habit!

That looks awesome. Great job Mom!
